  • Homeless At-Risk Transitional Students Program (HARTS)

    Agency: CITY COLLEGE OF SAN FRANCISCO

    Seeks to create paths out of poverty and homelessness by providing access, advocacy, resources and support for homeless, formerly homeless, and at-risk students within the college and for potential students. Provides resources to resolve impediments to study. Meets with potential students to demystify and facilitate access to City College programs and courses. Promotes and coordinates homelessness awareness activities on campus. Assists qualified students with MUNI fastpass and limited cafeteria food services. Offers HARTS outreach workshops to community-based organizations, agencies and schools.
