Drop-in Centers Drop-in sites are distributing takeout meals and hygiene supplies Monday through Friday, as well as bathroom and handwashing access while maintaining social distancing. Staff are providing in-person and remote case management, problem-solving, assessments, and housing navigation. Shelters Shelters are operating, promoting social distancing to the greatest degree possible, and following SFDPH guidance on handwashing, cleaning, and disinfecting. Housing We are processing active housing referrals. All housing programs are operating under the Shelter in Place Order. Congregate sites are operating with minimum staff levels, and scattered site participants are receiving high-touch remote case management. Employment, Education, and Youth Leadership Larkin Street Academy is providing remote tutoring, distance learning, and tele-support to participants. Behavioral Health Case managers and clinicians are checking in with youth daily by phone. Youth who are accessing the ECC can use the Wellness Room for privacy during a therapy call. Behavioral health groups are temporarily paused. Clinic DPH has deployed staff from smaller youth clinic sites (Larkin Street, Cole Street, and 3rd Street) to larger clinics that have greater capacity to respond to COVID-19. Young people with non-COVID-19-related medical needs are referred to alternative clinic sites, and those in need of COVID-19 testing or treatment follow the SFDPH protocol.
