Owns and manages public housing units. Also administers the following programs and services:
Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) - provides rental subsidy for very low-income families. Families pay approximately 30% of their monthly income for rent and Marin Housing pays the remainder of the rent directly to the owner.
Below Market Rate Homeownership Program - offers low and moderate-income, first time homebuyers the opportunity to purchase specified condominium units in Marin County at less than market value.
Residential Rehab Loan Program - provides low-interest property improvement loans and technical assistance to qualified very low income homeowners to make basic repairs and improvements, correct substandard conditions, and eliminate health and safety hazards.

Intake and Eligibility: Subsidized housing: Individual with a disability, senior (age 62 or over), or family that meets HUD (Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development) income eligibility.
