  • Downtown Center


    Operates a senior center in the Tenderloin district. Serves daily hot meal, and offers a variety of activities and classes including arts and exercise classes. Offers an aging and disability resource center for information and resources.  Also offers the Living Well, Aging Well program. Participants assess their own needs and interests related to dimensions of well being (i.e., physical, educational, cultural, social, spiritual, nutritional, and environmental), choose activities to pursue at the center, set goals, and track their progress.

    Payment Description: $2 donation requested for the hot meal. No one is denied service due to inability to pay.

    Intake and Eligibility: Seniors (age 60 and older) or adult with disabilities, who are residents in the Tenderloin District.
