    Plans and develops affordable senior housing targeted toward the LGBT community. Provides social, recreational and leisure community programs to help LGBT seniors to remain connected to their community as they grow older, including travel, continuing education, arts, entertainment and discussion forums.

    Also offers cultural competency training to health and aging services providers to help them adopt best practices regarding LGBT clients. Provides technical assistance in a pilot project to three targeted senior centers in San Francisco, helping them to identify isolated LGBT seniors in the neighborhoods they serve and assisting them to create programs that integrate them into the senior center communities.
