  • San Francisco Emergency Food Box Program

    Note for Coronavirus response period:
    Pop-up pantries are operating across SF and Marin to accommodate large numbers of people who have lost access to food due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

    No ID or sign-in required to receive groceries 
    (fresh produce, lean protein, grains, and shelf-stable items) every week.

    Call 800-984-3663 Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm or visit www.sfmfoodbank.org/find-food to locate local pantries.

    Also home-delivering to the most vulnerable populations, including low-income seniors (service is operating on a waitlist).

    Accepting volunteers to participate in home-delivery programs and provide groceries to homebound seniors.


    NOTE: SFUSD is operating seven pantries at schools, providing to-go meals for students. When students and parents pick up their breakfast and lunch, they will also be able to get pre-bagged groceries to take home.

    Provides a three-day supply of emergency food without enrollment. Assistance is available once every 12 months.

    Provides food to people experiencing one-time emergencies. Refers participants to a weekly or monthly distribution program if necessary.
